Just wanted to post the final chapter. Last weekend Satty and I violated the cookie monster car in ways that had never been explored before. Afterward we sent it away to be crushed, though it shall live on in some dope local cars.

Autopsy results are in.

RoskiMachine died of MAX AWESOME. Car was low enough to smash pan and oil pickup into submission. Only acceptable way to pop a motor. OH WELL.

Dead Cars > Alive Cars Pt. 3

Shortly after the LongGrain incident, we lost the RoskiMachine.

We were driving to work one morning and the motor started playing knock-knock jokes with us down I-55. While trying to limp it home, the hood flew open and smashed itself, the windshield, and the roof.

Roski had just sold his Daily driver not too long ago, so this left him car-less, and since times are hard right now, this forced him to part it out.

So far weve lost Two Cars this season. But on the bright side, Trucky just returned from his long trip to Texas, the return of the Red Shark is almost here, and Frank's new fastback build should be done soon too. Were hoping the end of this season works much better then the beggining did..

Summer is FLYING by. Heres a little recap of what's happened so far... Hasnt been going too smoothly for us.

LongGrain totalled his car at the HIN Pro-Am Qualifier event.

Dont mind the wheels, we hadnt shown up with the cool wheels yet in these shots. The car had just been painted Skyline Midnight Purple ONE DAY BEFORE. It had also just been rebuilt from the ground up, including new motor setup. Horrible luck.

We usually frown upon posting other people's hot cars on our blog only because that kind of comes off as filler material to me sometimes, BUT. In an effort to spread more Good Car Style amongst the starved America's, I've decided to post cars that I think show great Car style. I might not do it often, or on a regular schedule, I'll just do it when I feel like I like a car enough to warrant the effort of such a post. Heres our first example.

Preparation.

So, I had a brand new set of RPF1's for the return of the Shark already.
They were in perfect sizes too(17x9+22/17x10+18), but I only really got them because I had got them for a pretty good price and their alright wheels. But I decided I wanted wheels that I genuinely DESIRED. Plus I didnt want my car to look like another american "Drift" car with Rpf's on it. Anyway, I decided what I wanted and luckily not long after a set popped up for sale on Zilvia. The seller was nice and they shipped over from Misawa Japan surprisingly fast. They're not TE's/CE's/Equips etc. but their my all time favorite budget Japan wheel and i LOVE polished 1 pc. wheels.

Im excited.

Summer Stuntmode

So we had a pretty eventful week . .
Trucky, Edgar and I got down with the get down Saturday to paint my front fenders and new Origin Stream front bumper*
Pulling another all-nighter with the squad.
Cooler full of beer, Bugs in the clear,
Mexico spec automotive painting at its finest.

Later that same morning Trucky and Edgar got up early as piss to drive at Rockford
